SHOW NOTES: This week I learned that Amber Carr, the sister of Atatiana Jefferson, who is just 33 years old and has two young sons, has been told that she may not live until this weekend. Her heart is failing and it has impacted every other organ of her body.
It was Amber's own son who was in the room playing video games with Atatiana when she was shot and killed. And in the months that followed Atatiana's mother and father both died. It's too much. It's too much for heart, mind, body, and soul. And over and over again I've seen entire families impacted by police violence experience a horrible ripple effect that had a devastating impact that goes far beyond the initial victim.
Today, let's all chip in and do everything we can to support Atatiana's family. They need our help.
HERE IS THE LINK WHERE YOU CAN CHIP IN, OK?
